After practising as a solicitor, Laurence qualified as a primary school teacher, with experience working in special needs as well as teaching mainstream in both Upper and Lower Key Stage 2. With a degree in French and Latin to university level, he is more than capable of teaching a number of subjects to a range of levels, although specialising in teaching towards the 11+.

Whether your child needs support in core subjects, or stretching in order to be challenged, Laurence's open and friendly approach will enable your child to make tangible progress. In collaboration with parents and cooperation with your child, he will set specific, measurable, attainable, relevant and time-bound targets, whilst concentrating on building confidence.

Laurence will provide informal feedback to both your child and parents at all times, as well as formal feedback, where longer standing provision is provided.

Laurence offers flexible timings and options, principal examples of which are:
CV, references, recent DRS (formerly CRB) certificate, "subject access" request from the MET available, together with proof of qualifications.
Option 1: £25 per 35 minutes session or £35 for an hour at Laurence and Suzanne's home in Cobham, Surrey KT11.
Option 2: £40 for 1 hour at your home, if local.
